Focus and Scope
Journal of Indonesian Language and Literature is published by Department of Indonesian Literature, Faculty of Letters State University of Malang (UM).
The Indonesian Language and Literature Journal is published 2 (two) times a year in June (January-June edition) and December (July-December), containing articles / articles of thought and research written by experts, scientists, practitioners and reviewers about the results of research, conceptual ideas, study and application of theory, literature review, and book reviews.
The domain of Indonesian language studies is divided into five categories, namely (1) language attitudes, (2) language skills, (3) language usage/empowerment, (4) language rules, and (5) language history and development.
The literature of Indonesian literature is translated into six categories, namely (1) the use of theory and methods in literary research, (2) Indonesian literary ontology, (3) Indonesian literary readers, (4) Indonesian literary communities, (5) space -space of literary expression, and (6) publishing and distribution of literature.
