EKSISTENSI DAN MOTIF MISTISME DALAM CERITA RAKYAT SUMUR GEDE CILAMAYA KULON (KAJIAN ANTROPOLOGI SASTRA: NIELS MULDER)

Abstract

This study aims to describe the existence and motifs of mysticism in the folklor of Sumur Gede Cilamaya Kulon based on the analysis of Niels Mulder's literary anthropology. The method used is descriptive qualitative with an ethnographic approach, including in-depth interviews and documentation studies of oral literary texts. The study results show that the concept of mysticism is divided into the Existence of Mysticism and the Motive of Mysticism. The Existence of Mysticism consists of Material Existence, Spiritual Existence, and Moral Existence. The Motive of Mysticism consists of Positive Motives and Egoistic Motives. These findings emphasize the role of mysticism as an important element in maintaining the cultural heritage and social values of the Cilamaya Kulon community.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan eksistensi dan motif mistisme dalam cerita rakyat Sumur Gede Cilamaya Kulon berdasarkan kajian antropologi sastra Niels Mulder. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi, meliputi wawancara mendalam dan studi dokumentasi teks sastra lisan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konsep mistisme terbagi menjadi dua, yaitu Eksistensi Mistisme dan Motif Mistisme. Eksistensi Mistisme terdiri dari Eksistensi Material, Eksistensi Spiritual, dan Eksistensi Moral. Motif Mistisme terdiri dari Motif dan Motif Egoistis. Temuan ini mempertegas peran mistisme sebagai unsur penting dalam menjaga warisan budaya dan nilai sosial masyarakat Cilamaya Kulon.
